Amazon Prime tapped Wild Card to build the official trailer for Megan Thee Stallion’s highly anticipated documentary. The pitch needed to prove not just technical craft but an authentic understanding of Megan’s world and cultural impact.
Approach
I spearheaded the strategic insight phase, immersing myself in Megan’s artistry and public persona—analyzing lyrics, interviews, hobbies, stage highlights, and fan culture. From this research, I crafted briefing territories that framed creative pathways for our editors and producers. The goal: anchor the trailer’s narrative in what makes Megan resonate with her fans—confidence, resilience, and cultural fluency.
Impact
Our creative territories became the foundation that won Wild Card the business. The final trailer successfully captured Megan’s voice and story, balancing mass appeal with fan-first authenticity.
